Class of 2015

The 2015 class has already made a splash on the national scene with Hyron Edwards being ranked #10 in the most recent ESPN rankings.  Jalen Coleman is also a top prospect in the country.  However, the talent does not stop there.  This class has the chance to turn out quite a few high-major players.

1.  Jalen Coleman:  6’2” Point Guard, Cathedral H.S.

Offers:  Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Illinois, St. Bonaventure, Ohio State

Interest:  Michigan State, Butler, Florida, Michigan, Texas

Jalen is a great athlete with a good first step when going to the basket.  He is very quick with the ball in his hand and pushes the ball up the court well.  I like his transition jump shot, and he is a pretty good perimeter shooter too.  Jalen had a slow start to the summer, but really picked up in July and was scoring the ball at a high rate.

2.  Hyron Edwards:  5’11” Point Guard, East Chicago Central H.S.

Offers:  Indiana, Purdue, Illinois

Interest:  Ball State, Valparaiso, Missouri, Stanford, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Michigan State

Hyron blew up right at the beginning of this AAU season.  After gaining offers from IU and Purdue he became one of the most sought after 2015 recruits in the country.  He is a very polished basketball player for his young age. Hyron does it all offensively, a good distributor as well as a scorer.  He has high level quickness and is explosive when attacking the rim off the dribble.

3.  K.J. Walton:  6’3” Shooting Guard, Brownsburg H.S.

Offers:

Interest:   Indiana, Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Butler, Xavier, Wake Forest

K.J. has an explosive first step which he uses to create for himself off the dribble and get to the rim.  He finishes well around the basket and has a nice pull-up mid-range jumper.  Walton is very polished offensively for his age, he is very poised and doesn’t seem to force the action too much.  He handles the ball well enough to play some point guard, but right now he is probably best when off the ball.

4.  Chandler White:  6’2” Shooting Guard, Fort Wayne Carroll H.S.

Offers:  Boston College

Interest:  Indiana, Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State, Xavier, Butler, Wake Forest, Miami (OH)

Chandler is a good ball handler who is great at penetrating and scoring around the basket.  He has great body control inside and is pretty strong.  Very good passer as well, good at kicking out to shooters when he attacks the rim.  Good jump shot, especially from mid-range. I really like his offensive skill set.  Explosive jumping ability.  Chandler was named the MVP of the Adidas Super 64 in Vegas while leading his Indiana Elite 15′s squad to the title.

5.  Bronson Kessinger:  6’7” Power Forward, Corydon Central H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Indiana, Purdue, Xavier, Michigan, Butler, Louisville

Bronson is a great athlete and can get off the floor very quick, good jumping ability.  Very good rebounder and finishes well around the rim on the offensive end. Works hard on the court too.  His mid-range shooting game has been improving, adding yet another dimension to his game.  He also can handle the ball well enough to drive from the high post.  Very active offensively.

6.  Josh Speidel:  6’7” Power Forward, Columbus North H.S.

Offers:  Evansville

Interest:   Indiana State, Butler, New Mexico, Boston College, Indiana, Purdue, Xavier, Michigan State, Michigan, Illinois, IUPUI

Very good size and strength for his age.  Speidel isn’t afraid to bang bodies inside, he is strong enough to finish around the basket and get rebounds at both ends of the floor.  He can put the ball on the floor a little too and drive to the basket from the high post.  Josh is without a doubt one of the best young big men in the Midwest.

7. Gary Bonds:  6’7” Power Forward, Warren Central H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Purdue, Xavier, Michigan, Indiana

Very good size and length.  Gary is a little raw right now, but as he gets stronger and more polished on the basketball court I think his stock will really rise.  Right now he disrupts shots defensively and is a good area rebounder.  He was improving his offensive game a lot this summer, he now has some nice post moves and can hit a shot out to around 15 feet.  Seems to have a pretty good feel for the game.  Love his upside.

8.  Ryan Fazekas:  6’7” Small Forward, Marquette Catholic H.S.

Offers:  Valparaiso, Illinois-Chicago

Interest:  Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, Purdue, Xavier

Very good size for a kid who can play on the perimeter.  Ryan can really shoot the ball, and his size lets him get his shot off over just about anyone.  Over the course of the summer he continued to add other dimensions to his game including improving his ball handling and skills down low.  He also may not be done growing.

9.  Joel Okafor:  5’10” Point Guard, Richmond H.S.

Offers:  Wright State, Middle Tennessee State, Western Michigan

Interest:  Michigan State, Purdue, Ball State, Minnesota, IUPUI, Xavier

Joel makes some plays that 15 year olds just are not supposed to make.  He was the starting point guard for the Red Devils since day one and had a very good freshman season which carried into this summer.  He is extremely explosive with the ball in his hands, can get around just about any defender in the state off the dribble.  Very strong for his age, great leaping ability as well.  Not a shooting threat at this point, but is great at attacking the rim.

10.  Brennan Gillis:  6’6” Power Forward, Ben Davis H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, Nebraska

Very good size and strength for his age.  Brennan rebounds the ball well, really attacks the glass and corrals the ball.  Also, he can score around the rim.  Good shot blocker on the defensive end of the court.  Brennan is very active on the inside, he likes to catch the ball about 12 feet from the rim and use his quickness to drive to the rim.  He is definitely one of the better young big men in the state.  I am not sure how much bigger he will get, however I like his motor and current skill set.

11.  Nick Rogers:  6’0” Point Guard, Trader’s Point Christian Academy

Offers:  Kent State, Northern Illinois, Mississippi

Interest:  Western Illinois, Leigh, Mercer, IPFW, Wright State, Loyola, Mississippi State, Ohio, Kennesaw State

Nick is a very good athlete with a good perimeter stroke and a very good pull-up jumper.  He handles the ball well and likes to push it up the court in transition.  He gets off the floor very well which lets him finish over taller defenders when attacking the rim.  Nick is a good on-ball defender as well.  I really like his upside, definitely one of the top guards in the 2015 class.

12.  Matt Holba:  6’6” Power Forward, Chesterton H.S.

Offers:  Valparaiso

Interest:  Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue

Matt is a great athlete who can really jump.  Also has very good length.  I could see him growing some more still and becoming a big time threat on the low block.  Right now he is at his best when running the floor and using his athleticism and ball handling ability to get to the rim.  Nice athletic “4″ man prospect.

13.  Michael Benkert:  6’3” Small Forward, Center Grove H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Purdue, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, IUPUI

Michael had a great AAU season that turned a lot of heads.  He has a great skill set on the offensive end; he shoots the ball well from 3-point range, mid-range, and can take the ball to the basket.  Michael is a strong kid and finishes well around the rim.  I really like his upside and it wouldn’t shock me if he become a Top 10 or even Top 5 player in this class.

14.  Bryce Moore:  6’2” Point Guard, Park Tudor H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Miami (OH), Loyola

Bryce had a great summer, bursting onto the scene after playing behind Yogi Ferrell as a freshman.  He is a strong, athletic guard who can penetrate the defense and score at the rim.  Really like his frame for a young guy.  He is very quick with the ball in his hands and doesn’t turn it over too much.  Look for him to have a big season at Park Tudor.

15.  Davon Dillard:  6’4” Shooting Guard, Bowman Academy

Offers:

Interest:  Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Michigan State, Iowa, DePaul

I love his athleticism, strength, and explosiveness going to the rim.  When he gets up in the air, whether it is for a rebound or for a dunk, you better get out of the way.  Also, while he isn’t a great shooter, he can knock in an open outside shot.  Davon is a very talented all-around player that could be one of the best prospects in the state as he puts all of his skills together.  Has a college ready body.

16. Ryan Welage:  6’7” Power Forward, Greensburg H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Indiana, Purdue, Nebraska, Indiana State

Ryan had a huge summer that turned a lot of college coach’s heads.  He can pretty much do it all on the offensive end of the floor.  He has nice skills in the post, finishes at the rim, and can step outside and shoot the ball out to 3-point range.  Even though he isn’t very strong he does rebound the ball pretty well.  If he can get stronger and improve his ball handling he will be a high-major prospect.

17.  Everett Duncan:  6’4” Shooting Guard, Evansville Harrison H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Evansville, Indiana State, New Mexico

Long, lean build.  Talented wing player who can shoot the ball very well from 3-point range, when he gets going he can put it 5 or 6 3′s in a game easily.  Everitt had a great summer and probably ended up being the leading scorer for the national champion Indiana Elite 15′s team.  Also rebounds the ball pretty well on both ends of the court.

18.  Harris Brown:  5’9” Point Guard, Indianapolis Northwest H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Purdue, Indiana, Detroit, IUPUI

Harris is a good outside shooter and is quick enough to get around defenders and drive to the basket.  Contributed at the varsity level for a good Northwest team his freshman season.  Plays a very physical game for a small guard, fearless on the court.  I really enjoy watching him play.

19.  Braxton Miller:  6’1” Shooting Guard, Marquette Catholic H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Northern Illinois

Braxton is one of the premier offensive talents in Indiana’s 2015 class.  He is a very good shooter from mid-range and 3-point range, showcasing a smooth shooting stroke.  He also handles the ball well and is a good passer.  I think Braxton can play either guard spot, but with his scoring ability, he is at his best off the ball.

20.  Anthony Jones:  6’4” Shooting Guard, Speedway H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Illinois, Detroit, Evansville, Toledo, Kennesaw State, Indiana State, IUPUI

Nice athlete.  He is a good scorer and can rebound the basketball at a high level from the guard spot.  Defensively he is very active and can get you a lot of steals and blocks.  Good all-around player who can fill it up.

21.  Sean McGee:  5’9” Point Guard, Forth Wayne North Side H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Purdue, IPFW, Xavier, Indiana, Michigan State, Butler

Very good at getting to the basket off the dribble, seems to get around defenders with ease.  When going to the basket he has a very nice floater that he uses to finish over size inside.  He shot the ball well from the perimeter this summer too.  Obviously he is a little undersized at this time, but it doesn’t seem to hold him back any.

22.  Derrick Smits:  6’9” Center, Zionsville H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Purdue, Indiana, Butler, Xavier, Michigan

The son of former Indiana Pacer Rik Smits, Derrick is well on his way to being nearly as tall as his dad.  Right now the game is a little quick for him, however he is very fundamentally sound and knows what he needs to do.  Pretty good area rebounder and disruptive on the defensive end.  Derrick has a soft shooting touch and looks pretty good out to around 15 feet.  Once he grows into his body a little more and becomes more physical he could shoot up the rankings.

23.  Adam Eberhard:  6’5” Small Forward, Evansville Memorial H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Bowling Green, Western Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville

Adam is a very good offensive player with upside.  He handles the ball well for his size, likes to penetrate the defense from the wings and get to the rim.  He is an active rebounder on both ends of the court.  Just an all-around good player.

24.  Delano Coffey:  5’10” Point Guard, Bishop Chatard H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

I have been very impressed with his game recently.  Coffey is a great ball handler and takes the ball strong to the rim.  He also shoots the ball well from 3-point range.  A bit undersized, but his strength makes up for that a little bit.  Delano can hurt you going to the basket or from the perimeter.  May be one of the better pure point guards in Indiana’s 2015 class.  I really like him.

25.  Chris Nunn:  5’8” Point Guard, Liberty Christian H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Western Illinois, IUPUI

Put up big time numbers in his freshman campaign while leading his team to a regional final.  Averaged 18 points and 5 assists per ball game.  Obviously a little undersized at this point, but a very skilled point guard.  Also, Chris is pretty strong and quick which makes up for his lack of height.  Hard nosed point guard who is solid on both ends of the court.

26.  Devin Cannady:  5’11” Point Guard, Mishawaka Marian H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Another very good point guard in the 2015 class.  Devin is long, athletic, and a real playmaker with the ball in his hands.  He handles the ball well and does a good job of getting to the rim off the dribble.  One thing he needs to work on is limiting turnovers, part of that will come as he gets stronger though.  I really like his upside.

27.  Chris Palombizio:  6’3” Shooting Guard, Chesterton H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

The son of former Mr. Basketball Dan Palombizio.  Chris is very quick and can beat a lot of defenders off the dribble, also a good ball handler, could play the point as well as off the ball.  He is a good perimeter shooter as well.  I like him on the defensive end of the floor too.  An all-around skilled player with high basketball IQ.

28.  Davious Webster:  6’2” Point Guard, Richmond H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Davious is a strong, athletic kid who can get to the rim very well off the dribble.  He handles the ball well in transition but also has good experience playing off the ball since he plays alongside Joel Okafor during the high school season.  Davious needs to keep working on his perimeter shooting consistency, but he can knock down some shots.

29.  Aaron Banks:  6’3” Small Forward, North Central H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

I really like his potential.  Aaron played very well out in Las Vegas while leading Indiana Elite 15′s to the title.  He handles the ball well and is a great athlete with length.  He was very effective driving to the rim from either wing and also got some easy buckets in transition.  If he grows a couple of inches he will be a big time player.

30.  Grant Weatherford:  6’1” Point Guard, Hamilton Heights H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Indiana State, IUPUI

Grant is really fun to watch.  He is a good athlete with good jumping ability.  He does a lot of things well on the court, always seems to be in the right place at the right time.  Rebounds the ball well from the guard spot.  Grant is really good when attacking the rim off the dribble, finishes well inside.

31.  Bryan Hoeing:  6’5” Shooting Guard, Batesville H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Xavier

Bryan isn’t as well known as some prospects in this class because he doesn’t play on the AAU circuit due to also being a high-level baseball prospect.  However, he is certainly a player to keep an eye.  He has very good size for a shooter and some serious range.  Comfortable shooting out to NBA range behind the arc.  Bryan also handles the ball pretty well and is a good athlete.

32.  Stanley Duncan:  6’4” Shooting Guard, Evansville Harrison H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Indiana State, Evansville

Stanley gets a little overshadowed by his brothers Ernie and Everitt, however he is a very good player in his own right.  He is a knock down outside shooter with nice length.  I was pretty impressed with him this summer.

33.  Nick Rutherford:  6’2” Point Guard, Pike H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Miami (OH), Oregon State, DePaul, Wake Forest

I really like his athleticism and ability to get to the rim off the dribble.  He has a nice floater that he likes to use when he gets inside, really nice left-handed touch.  Nick can also hit an open 3-point shot.  Pretty good vision, makes some nice passes when he penetrates the defense.

34.  Joey Morlan:  6’4” Shooting Guard, Blackhawk Christian H.S.

Offers:  IPFW

Interest:

He will have plenty of time over the next few years to fight with Everritt Duncan for the title of best pure shooter in the state.  Not the greatest athlete, but his shooting ability alone makes him a high level prospect.  Knocked down 49 3′s this season while averaging 8.5 points per game.

35.  Tahjai Teague:  6’6” Small Forward, Pike H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Nebraska

I am buying stock in Tahjai Teague.  Still a little raw, but he has the length and height to be a good prospect.  He definitely still has some growing to do.  As he gets more physical and polished his game will take off.  This summer he started shooting the ball pretty well and looked a lot better on the boards.  I think he is going to do nothing but move up the rankings.

36.  Dreon Lewis:  6’6” Center, Indianapolis Northwest H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Dreon has a good shooting touch for his size.  He is comfortable stepping away from the basket and can knock down shots out to the 3-point line.  He has good strength on the block and finishes pretty well around the rim.  Good area rebounder.  Dreon will need to improve his foot speed to take his game to a higher level.

37.  Dwayne Gibson:  6’2” Shooting Guard, Park Tudor H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Dwayne is a very good shooter from 3-point range.  He is a good athlete with length which lets him be effective inside the arc as well.  He supposedly wears a size 18 shoe, so I am guessing he may grow some more.  Should have a good year for Park Tudor.

38.  Darrian Ringo:  5’9” Point Guard, Brownsburg H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Very quick with the ball in his hands, has no problem getting around defenders to penetrate.  Ringo is an offensive minded point guard who can score the ball going to the basket.  Also a good passer when in attack mode.

39.  T.J. Henderson:  5’11” Point Guard, Indianapolis Tindley

Offers:

Interest:

Very aggressive offensive player who can really fill it up.  T.J. has good length, looks like he may still grow an inch or two.  Needs to continue to work on his perimeter shooting, but he is very good at getting the basket and has a nice pull-up jumper.

40.  Seth Adelsperger:  6’9” Center, Peru H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Obviously has great size.  Right now Seth is still pretty raw, but he does have a pretty good feel for the game.  He needs to get stronger so he can deal with the physicality of the game down low.  He can disrupt some shots defensively and finish around the rim.  Slow on his feet.

41.  Logan Kirby:  6’6” Power Forward, Bloomington H.S. South

Offers:

Interest:

He improved a lot over the course of the summer.  Logan is a big body down low with solid post moves and a soft touch around the basket.  He also does a good job on the boards.  I am anxious to watch him develop further over the next couple of years.

42.  Drew Hackett:  6’2” Point Guard, Munster H.S.

Offers:  Illinois-Chicago

Interest:

I was very impressed with Hackett the couple of times I saw him this summer.  He isn’t going to wow you with his quickness, but he does a great job of managing the game and doesn’t turn the ball over.  Drew can shoot the ball pretty well and does a good job of penetrating the defense off the dribble.  Makes for a great backcourt at Munster with Mike Schlotman and himself.

43.  Kaleb Ferrell:  6’1” Point Guard, Franklin Central H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Kaleb already has much better size than Yogi, however he doesn’t have the quickness and explosiveness of his older brother.  Kaleb does a good job of penetrating the defense and scoring around the basket.  He also is a pretty good 3-point shooter.  An offensive minded point guard.

44.  Liam Duncan:  6’8” Center, Carmel H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Liam is another big, intriguing prospect.  He is built like a truck which lets him simply overpower opponents for rebounds and baskets down low.  I like his upside.

45.  Chad Hudson:  5’8” Point Guard, New Albany H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Hudson is an extremely quick ball handler who can penetrate the defense with ease.  I love the way he attacks the basket and seems unfazed by taller defenders.  Chad can also shoot the ball pretty well from the perimeter.  Obviously his size is a bit of a draw back right now, but he is definitely a player to watch.

46.  Austin Elmore:  6’7” Power Forward, Evansville North H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Austin impressed me this summer with his ability to run the floor and score around the basket.  He has good hands and footwork down low which lets him be very effective against slower post defenders.  He has a decent shooting touch out to 15 feet.  Active the boards.  I think he has some very good upside.

47.  Filip Serwatka:  6’7” Small Forward, Concord H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

I was very impressed with Filip when I watched him earlier this season.  He has a really nice perimeter shot, rebounds the ball well, can handle the ball a little bit, and is just very skilled all-around considering his size and age.  Coaches really need to keep an eye on him.  Could be very, very good.

48.  Christian Evans:  6’3” Shooting Guard, Scottsburg H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Indiana State

Still flying a little under-the-radar because he is from further south and didn’t play on a big name AAU team.  However, Christian is a big time scorer with length and an opportunity to still grow an inch or two.  He handles the ball pretty well, but is at his best when moving off the ball.  I really like is all-around offensive skill set.

49.  Keegan Culp:  6’5” Small Forward, Hamilton Southeastern H.S.

Offers:

Interest:  Rice

I really like his size and strength for a guy that can play around the perimeter.  Keegan shoots the 3 well and can finish inside.  Good rebounder.  Also a high level student who should be able to play at some high-academic institutions.

50.  Brandon Hardesty:  6’4” Small Forward, Franklin H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Didn’t get a lot of playing time this summer for EG10, but I like his game.  He has pretty good size and can shoot the 3-ball well.  Brandon has good footwork and does a good job of driving along the baseline.  Look for him to have a good year for Franklin.

51.  Chris Ford:  6’2” Shooting Guard, Hamilton Southeastern H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Good athlete that likes to attack the rim off the dribble.  Chris gets some varsity minutes for HSE and can provide some instant offense.  Will stay under-the-radar until Zak Irvin graduates, but I expect him to play a big scoring role next season.

52.  Austin Compton:  5’10” Point Guard, Frankton H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Austin is an aggressive offensive player who can really score the ball.  He is quick going to the rim and can shoot the ball from the perimeter.  He is a good playmaker, but will need to work on limiting his turnovers.

53.  Mike Tucker:  5’8” Point Guard, Marion H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Mike is a heady point guard who handles the ball very well.  He is a good passer and runs the offense well for his team.  Obviously needs to grow a little bit at some point and add some strength, but he is certainly a prospect to keep an eye on.

54.  Myles Harvey:  5’11” Point Guard, Jeffersonville H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

He is a strong, stock guard who likes to attack the basket off the dribble.  Myles is a pretty good athlete and handles the ball which lets him create for himself offensively.  I haven’t seen him shoot the ball much from the perimeter, will probably need to improve that aspect of his game.  A very good defender who gets a lot of steals.

55.  Kyle Hartman:  5’9” Point Guard, Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Kyle is a very good shooter from anywhere on the floor; he can knock down 3′s, get to the basket, and shoots a high percentage from the foul line.  He turns the ball over a little too much, but also is a pretty good passer.  A pretty solid all-around point guard, but with all of the solid PG’s in this class, he doesn’t get as much attention.

56.  Carter Skaggs:  6’5” Small Forward, Pioneer H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

He has a lot of upside.  Carter is a pretty skilled player for his size and looks like he should still grow an inch or two.  He has a very soft shooting touch out to about 18 feet.  He will need to get stronger in order to become more of a presence down low, but his ability to extend the defense makes him a good prospect.

57.  Malik Bennett:  5’8” Point Guard, Pike H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Malik was instrumental in leading the Indiana Elite 15u squad to the Adidas Super 64 championship in Las Vegas at the end of the summer.  He is a strong ball handler who can get to the basket and finish through contact.  Even though he is small he is very tough and fearless on the court.  Enjoy watching him play.

58.  John Jager:  5’10” Point Guard, Bloomington H.S. South

Offers:

Interest:

He is a very good ball handler who stays poised under pressure and doesn’t let the defense speed him up too much.  John is a very good 3-pointer shooter too when he is able to get this shot off.  I like his toughness for a smaller point guard; a player to keep an eye on.

59.  Caleb Landrum:  6’3” Small Forward, Huntington North H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Caleb is a good offensive player who can do a little bit of everything.  He had a very solid freshman season at Huntington North and is poised to follow it up with an even better sophomore campaign.  I like his all-around game.

60.  Mason Coverstone:  6’3” Small Forward, Columbia City H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Mason is the lone non-senior stater for Columbia City.  He has great length and looks like he should grow a couple more inches.  He shoots the ball pretty well and does a decent job on the boards.  Will need to get stronger, but some of that will come with age.  I like his upside, kind of looks like he could fit into the Daniel Woll mold of player (his current teammate who is committed to Huntington).

61.  Abe Haler:  6’2” Shooting Guard, New Castle H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

I really like his overall game, very well-rounded.  He is a good mid-range shooter, can hit the 3-point shot, and is a good athlete.  Abe plays alongside 2013 prospects Steven Bennett and Korey Ryan, but in my opinion he is the best prospect of the 3.

62.  Christian Jacobs:  6’6” Power Forward, Gary West H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Tremendous upside.  Christian is a super long wing player who handles the ball well and has good all-around skills.  He could definitely play the “3″ at the next level.  If he can add some strength and a consistent outside shot, watch out.

63.  Nigel Robinson:  6’3” Shooting Guard, John Marshall H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

He is very comfortable with the ball in his hands.  Nigel makes a lot of high IQ plays and does a good job of staying under control in an up-tempo system.  Handles the ball very well and is a good passer.  With his current size and athleticism I really like his upside.

 64.  Andrew Terrell:  6’0” Point Guard, Brebeuf Jesuit H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

A strong lead guard who really competes on the court.  Andrew rebounds very well from the guard spot.  Needs to improve his all-around offensive skill set, but he is still effective.  Played varsity as a freshman at Brebeuf.

65.  Jordan Simpson:  6’3” Small Forward, Portage H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Jordan is a great shooter with a quick release from the perimeter.  He has pretty good size and is a great athlete.  Right now he appears to be mostly just a shooter, but if he can improve his ball handling he could be very tough to stop off the dribble with his athletic ability.  Under-the-radar right now, but I really like his upside.

66.  Ryan Cline:  6’1” Shooting Guard, Carmel H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Ryan is a great 3-point shooter who also does a good job of handling the ball.  He isn’t a great athlete or overly quick, but he is a smart player who finds ways to penetrate the defense.  Just gets the job done.

67.  Ken Montgomery:  5’9” Point Guard, Bloomington H.S. North

Offers:

Interest:

Solid ball handler who can make things happen on offense.  Ken is a very good ball handler with quickness, he likes to push the ball up the court when he can.

68.  Geodeon Nzombia:  6’7” Power Forward, Rock Creek Academy

Offers:

Interest:

Another raw athlete with good size.  He is pretty strong around the basket, rebounds the ball well and can finish at the rim.  Geodeon is a good defender that blocks shots; can guard the 3-5 spots.  Definitely a work in progress, but he has a lot of upside.

69.  Ronald Karenzi:  6’6” Small Forward, Rock Creek Academy

Offers:

Interest:

Great athlete with length.  He is very raw, but can handle the ball a little bit and can make some nice moves going to the rim from the high post.  Keep an eye on him as he develops.  Good defender who can disrupt shots.

70.  Wes Stowers:  5’8” Point Guard, North Central H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Wes is undersized, but handles the ball very well and has good quickness.  He can knock down an open outside shot, but primarily plays a distributors role right now.  Has been getting some minutes on varsity for North Central.

71.  FreSan Reese:  5’7” Point Guard, Anderson H.S.

Offers:

Interest:

Doesn’t have a basketball body, but he is a very good player.  FreSan is very strong and does a good job of penetrating the defense off the dribble.  Solid offensive player that can help you in a variety of ways.
